Changing Local Printer character font:

Changing of Local printer character font, that is used for printing screens hardcopy, is done from [Options] item located on Tec3270 main menu.

On clicking over this item an submenu is shown, containing an options list from which {Printer Font} should be selected.

The 'Change Local Printer Font' dialog is presented in order to permit making all necessary changes.

Just the fixed size fonts are shown because the 3270 terminal line and column sizes are constant, so using proportional size fonts is inadequate. Choose desired font, size and style and press OK button.

The font size will change the printed page format and may cause lost of information if the inadequate size was choosed. Verify it by selecting Printing Preview and seeing if the page to be printed is being correctly formatted.

Note:

The Remote Printer character font should be changed using the item Menu [Printer] on Remote Printer Status window. Subitem [Change Font] should be selected and the same instructions above must be followed.
