This page contains the description of the functions of the Tec3270 that can be activated through the keyboard and mouse.

Keyboard and Mouse functions description

There are available functions with use of mouse that, differently of a terminal, allow to increase the productivity in the execution of Tec3270.

Beyond these functions are available all the other characteristics of 3270 terminal through keyboard keys or key combinations like CTRL+, ALT+ or similar.

These functions can be changed using the Keyboard Configurator that allows to modify, or to attribute new functions to keyboard keys.

Available functions with the use of the Mouse

Function	Execution procedure
To locate Cursor	Click the mouse left button in the desired position.
To select Text	Click the mouse left button and drag it until where selection is desired.
Pop-Up Menu	Click the mouse right button, where is desired that the menu appears, and select one of its options.
